While Purdy has reached one major milestone in his career, he has also reached another milestone in his relationship with his fiancée Gina Brandt. The duo — who met while attending Iowa State University where Purdy played football and Brandt was a player on the volleyball team — announced their engagement in July 2023 after one year of dating.

“We have to live life together… forever!” Brandt wrote on Instagram alongside several photos of their engagement on the beach. “Brooke Purdy – I love everything about you and your heart for Jesus more than any word you could say.”

For his part, Purdy posted a separate post of his own on Instagram with a sweet caption.

“Forever my girl Jenna. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to you forever babe. I love you JB!” he wrote at the time.
