Nicole Kidman He says Big little lies Season 3 will take place more than four years after Season 2 aired on HBO.

Big Little Lies followed the lives of several mothers in the affluent city of Monterey, California, but it soon became clear that although the parents seemed perfect, behind closed doors it was a different story.
Kidman and Witherspoon starred alongside them Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz And Shailene Woodley. The first season was a huge success in 2017, and Meryl Streep Join to follow after 2 years.
Rumors of a third season have faded over the years. Kidman appeared less confident in 2021 during an interview with SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live.”
“I don’t know. I know we will do it,” the Oscar winner said at the time. “We’re all very good friends and have the idea of working together again. I mean, literally, Laura just texted me. …But yeah, the idea of us being together, you know, [you get to a] A point in your life where you go, “Gosh, it’s good to be around people that I like to be around and work with people that I like to work with,” let alone a successful show like this. So, you know, but it’s not, it’s not out of the question, but yeah, we would love to do it.
Kravitz previously said she wasn’t expecting a third installment following the death of director Jean-Marc Vallée. He died at the age of 58 in December 2021 due to a heart attack.
“I don’t think so,” Kravitz said. GQ in November 2022 in response to a question about a potential third season. Unfortunately, Jean-Marc Vallée, our amazing director, passed away last year. It’s heartbreaking. I can’t imagine continuing without him. He was really the visionary for this show. “Unfortunately, it’s done.”
HBO has not made any official announcements about Big Little Lies Season 3.
