“I’m very excited to be returning to Northamptonshire in 2024,” Tremaine said. “I enjoyed every moment I had with the group last season and hopefully I can make an impact during the time I’m there and help set the tone for the remainder of the County Championship.”
Northants said UK visa restrictions prevented Tremaine from joining for longer, but head coach John Sadler was nonetheless keen on the 32-year-old’s return.
“I am thrilled to have Trim back with us in 2024.” Sadler said. “His bowling style is very well suited to English conditions, so to have him in the first four matches is fantastic.
He added: “He was only with us for a short period last season, but he made a huge impact at the club on and off the field. He is enjoying good form in Australia at the moment, and we hope that continues when he returns to us in April.”
