My Life with Walter Beuys is the newest teen drama series on Netflix – and Noah Lalonde It depicts a third of a chaotic love triangle between a girl and two brothers.

He may have bonded with his stars behind the scenes, but on screen it was a different story. When Jackie arrives at the Walters Ranch, Lalonde’s Cole suffers an injury that keeps him off the football field and changes the course of his future. Walking away from a dream is something Lalonde can relate to as a former hockey player.

Lalonde noted that while he and Cole ended their careers differently — he walked away from the sport willingly — the “emotions” that came with that “redefinition process” served as a springboard he used to connect with his character. “How can you take the next step in building your identity and the life you will live? We had to answer the same question,” he explained.
